Our Hearing Aid Policy
A hearing aid should be used on a trial basis before purchase. Following a hearing aid evaluation and fitting of an appropriate instrument, you will have a thirty (30) day trial period with the hearing aid(s). You will be the best judge of how much benefit an aid gives you.
An initial payment of half the total hearing aid charges will be expected the day of the hearing aid fitting. The balance will be due at the end of the 30 day trial period. If the hearing aid is returned a refund will be made with the exception of the dispensing fee. If hearing aids are ordered for both ears and only one aid is purchased there will not be a charge for the returned hearing aid.
Most insurance companies do not pay on hearing aids. It is your responsibility to ascertain if your insurance company pays for a hearing aid. The Wichita Ear Clinic contracts with insurance companies for professional services only. No insurance write off will be taken on the hearing aid(s). We will provide you the paperwork necessary so that you can file for reimbursement directly from your insurance company.
